Daily rates: what to expect
Luxury hire in Bristol broadly falls into three bands. Entry-level premium saloons and coupes, think Audi A5 or Volvo S90, start around £120 a day. Performance and executive models such as the Audi S4 Avant and BMW 520i M Sport sit around £160 a day. Prestige SUVs such as the Range Rover Velar are around £200 a day, and genuine supercars elsewhere in the market can run £500 to well over £1,000.
The costs beyond the daily rate
- Security deposit: refundable, typically £500–£10,000 depending on the car, returned once the car is back safely.
- Insurance: reputable firms include comprehensive cover in the price (we do), always check rather than assume, and note the excess.
- Delivery: usually charged by distance. Collecting from the hire company's base is normally free.
- Mileage: most hires include a daily mileage allowance, with a per-mile charge beyond it. Ask before a long trip.
- Minimum hire: two days is common for premium cars, including with us.
What affects the price?
Car value and insurance group do most of the work, but timing matters too: weekends, proms season and summer weddings book out first. Longer hires usually earn a better daily rate, and offers appear through the year, our Maserati Ghibli is currently £120 a day, down from £150.
A worked example
A weekend (two days) in the Audi A5, collected from our Bristol base: 2 × £120 = £240, insurance included, plus a refundable deposit. The same weekend delivered to Bath adds a distance-based delivery fee, quoted upfront on WhatsApp before you commit.
